  some common misconceptions about me and New Brunswick
- Fredericton is in Nova Scotia

- by coming from "out east" I must "mean" Ontario

- I must be 100% bilingual

- A lot of people have mentioned that I have an accent.. my favorite comment was " I can tell you're from out east, you have that Quebec accent"....I've been to Quebec like four times in my entire life

Now you kinda know what we went through when we came east...first the incredulous stare and comment of "you came here? from BC???" , then the comments about my accent (I also didn't know I had one!) then the thought that BC is a very small place...oh you're from Abbotsford? You must know my cousin, he lives in Kelowna!

The funny thing is, when you get home all your family and friends will say "wow your accent has chagned. We went home after only being away for 7 months and our families were shocked at the change of accent.

You to will notice the different in the way you talk once oyu are home.
